The town of Brampton is approximately 9 miles East of Carlisle, and 7 miles from the M6 at Junction 43, easily accessible off the A69. Amenities in the town include local supermarkets, bakers, cafes and take-aways. Brampton Golf Club is approximately 1.5 miles south of the Town Centre.

From the South & West (M6)
From the roundabout junction of the A69/A689, take the exit towards Brampton and the first right turn signposted Talkin Tarn. Follow this road to the crossroads and take the right turn to Castle Carrock (B6413). The golf course is on the right, approximately 400 yards after the level crossing.
From the East (A69 from Hexham/Newcastle)
Do not take the first turning right to Brampton (Fish Farm) but continue to Turn for Castle Carrock (B6413) and continue (Station Road) towards the Town Centre. At Service Station, on right, take left turn into Tree Road, Signposted Castle Carrock / Talkin Tarn (B6413). At cross-roads turn left to Castle Carrock / Lazonby (B6413) into Tarn Road. The golf course is on the right, approximately 400 yards after the level crossing.
